Help with LibraryMix Studio.
LibraryMix is currently in beta. Clear bug reports and details about the Mac and Music library involved are especially useful.
Email support
For beta problems, questions or feedback.
Reporting a beta issue
In LibraryMix Studio, open Settings → About & support and use Copy Support Info. Include that text with a short description of:
- what you were trying to do;
- what happened;
- what you expected to happen;
- whether the problem happens again after relaunching LibraryMix.
A screenshot is useful when the problem is visual. Please avoid sending personal information or files from your Music library unless specifically requested.
First-time setup
Allow LibraryMix to control Music
LibraryMix reads your Music library and creates or updates playlists through Music. On first use, macOS should ask for permission to control Music. Choose Allow. You can review that permission later in macOS System Settings under Privacy & Security → Automation.
Choose an Audit Folder
LibraryMix creates CSV audit files in the folder you choose. Re-opening LibraryMix should restore access to that folder and load the saved audit automatically.
Beta feature availability
New beta users may see Last.fm discovery and LibraryMix Gigs marked unavailable while third-party API permissions are being finalised. This does not prevent testing LibraryMix Radio, Rediscover, library audit/refresh or Spotify export.
Music playlist updates
LibraryMix creates and refreshes standard playlists in Music. Music and iCloud library syncing can occasionally take a little time to reflect a freshly replaced playlist across multiple Macs or devices. If a playlist looks stale, allow Music a moment to refresh before reporting it as a LibraryMix problem.
